History

The Olive Tree can trace its lineage in Ocean City, Maryland back four generations. It was in 1947 that Great Grandma Josie opened Josie and Maria's, the first Italian restaurant in Ocean City, which she operated for the next thirty years. During this time Josie's son and daughter carried on the family tradition culminating with the first Olive Tree on 17th Street.
Steeped in family tradition and armed with old world family recipes, the Olive Tree quickly became a tradition with Ocean City families all year round. Today its Josie's Grandson Greg who continues the tradition at the Olive Tree on 127th Street. Great food and family prices will keep you coming back year after year also.
